Affiliated with Northwestern Medicine for over a decade, Dr. Dewan has cultivated extensive experience and expertise in neurological and spine surgery, serving patients with unparalleled dedication and care.
Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, Dr. Dewan practices as a board-certified neurosurgeon with expertise in neurological and spine surgery. She is Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at The Chicago Medical School and Health System Clinician at the Feinberg School of Medicine, contributing to the academic and medical community through her extensive knowledge and experience in the field.
Dr. Sheri Dewan completed her graduate degree in Neuroscience at Northwestern University and received her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science Chicago Medical School. Following her graduation, she completed a residency in neurosurgery at the prestigious Brown University.
Beyond her residency, Dr. Dewan has committed herself to continuous learning, currently undertaking further studies in business and finance at the University of Oxford Executive Education program in London, England.

Dr. Dewan actively contributes to the community by participating in charity surgeries in Southern India and serving on multiple charity foundation boards. In her free time, Dr. Dewan enjoys writing, traveling, practicing yoga and spending quality time with her husband and three children. Her recent book “Cutting A Path” is a current bestseller.
